Inside delivery services mean that you can have your freight delivered right at your doorstep, driveway, or garage. This is also true for inside pickup services.

Of course, inside delivery means that your freight will be brought right to your doorway. All the same, the carrier will not go any further than the entrance of your commercial building or to the final delivery point. This is to prevent potential damage to the cargo by the doors or walls of the building and possible injuries on the carrier in case of an accident.

Additional charges shall apply should a consignee request that the carrier moves the cargo right into the building or up the stairs to its ultimate delivery point. Suffice to say, inside delivery does not involve breaking down the load as in the case of last-mile services. A final mile service is a different accessorial service where the freight is broken down and the wastes hauled away. White glove delivery services mean that the carrier will package and load the cargo on the truck during pickup. Upon arrival, your freight might be broken down and fragments cleared and carried away from your residential or business premises.
