Inland Hauling for Marine Engines From Port, Yard, or Shop
We pick up marine engines at ports, shipyards, rebuild shops, and warehouses. Each site has its own access and lift setup, so we confirm gate rules, appointment windows, and loading support before we dispatch.
Trailer selection follows the shipped package. Flatbeds work for many crated units. Step decks help when height is tight. For heavier or taller freight, an RGN setup can make loading safer and lower overall height. If the load is oversize, we arrange permits, routing, and escorts as needed.
Crating, Wrap, VCI, and Tarping Options for Marine Engine Freight
Packaging drives risk on marine engine shipping. Open-deck hauling exposes the unit to rain, road spray, and debris. Crating and wrap reduce exposure, but they add dimensions and can change permit status.
For corrosion control, some marine storage practices include fogging procedures for internal surfaces. On the outside, wrap or crating with corrosion inhibitors and moisture control can help during humid staging. We also avoid trapping condensation by letting hot metal cool before sealing it up.
